Good steak is over rated.. Seriously.. We Will get the steak that is like 30$ a pound, and it does not taste THAT much better than a cheap steak.

But I LOVE good green beans.. mmmmmmmmmm.

Also I love when I have money to go to Outback. To me those are the best steaks around here. Medium rare topped with mushrooms, umm, umm!

ive been to outback twice and both times i wasnt much impressed...

ive gotten that pricey steak as well, and over the flame, its incredible

I just guess it depends then. I have been to other outbacks as well and been let down. Most times they are right one though.

i went to one in the florida keys, and one in tampa, it was okay, but not worth the money....not nearly

My steak over the grill > any restaurant steak. Get it hand cut by the local grocer. It is magnificant

not exactly. when you compare a nice piece of prime meat or kobe vs select (mostly whats in the grocery store) or choice (the "nice" stuff at the store) and you cant tell the difference you have no business wasting prime meat on your untrained pallet. i think maybe you have just never had it cooked right. plus if you eat good meat it should never be cooked past medium rare and never seasoned with anything more than kosher or sea salt fresh cracked black pepper and garlic. should have nothing else on it after being cooked other than a nice variation of demi glace sauce or compound butter. oh and $30 a pound is not expensive meat

outback cooks their steaks in the oven. they mark them on the grill then finish them in a 500 degree oven . i had a friend that worked there as a cook
