I want to do it right!!! Kicker L7 15"

ok, heres the beef. The box for my L7, although loud, tecnically blows. I want to build a box that will hit the 140 db mark that an L7 can achieve, and i want to do it right. I have room for 7-8 cubes in a single box that I can just pick up and drop in my trunk.

Now I know there are some kind of box building calculators out there, that you enter in the qts qms aand all that good stuff, and it will give a body some numbers to work with. I built a box once and I'd say that it was pretty good, as i have some carpentering experience, so I can handle that part, but I'm clueless about the numbers. Sure, i can make a 6 cubic foot box out of MDF, but it has to sound good, and the math behind it is a good chunk of the game.

If anyone has any information that would be awesome.

IS that 6 cube box with or without sub displacement. Also post all the specs of the subs

Hey man if you want it to hit really good put it in a 4.5 cu. ft box it will hit really good and low. If you dont like low bass try a 3.5 cu. ft. box and that is just as good only a few inches smaller than the 4.5 cu. ft. box. Put a 1000 watts on to that sub in any of those boxes and you will be bangin. I would not go with the 6 cu. ft. box cause it is manly for spl and it only hits low it aint all that. I have 1 L7 15 and it is in a 4.5 cu. ft. box and it is very loud i did a 147.9 on the old mics with a 600.1 kicker. That was in a 3.5 cu. ft box. Me personally i like the 3.5 cu. ft. box cause it hits nice punchy and still low. If you take kickers designes you will do good. If you want to figure out box demensions for cu. ft. for ported box take interior demensions take Lenght x width x highth - port / by 1728 and that is your cu. ft. If you got messurement give em to me and tell how big you want your box and i will give you some dimensions. COOL.

The interior dimensions of the car or the amount of street I want to fill??? What I'm asking is if anyone knows the real box calculator formula that gives you dimensions thay actually mess with the arrangment of the sound waves. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about...
