no, it's not going to be that loud. I think that the sub moving freeair cancels itself out somewhat. It's just fun to see the f*cking thing have coniptions and shake the piss out of your car before it's even in a box. haha.
oh and yesterday i hooked up my XXX to my amp free air... its not supposed to sound good or loud in free air right? i hope not because it didn't i just wanted to see it move a little
You're not supposed to hear anything except maybe a bit of chuffing from the pole piece vent, because the front and rear waves sum to zero (bass wavelengths are long enough).
