Well, the first thing we need is some general info. From your initial comments it sounds like you would like more of an SQ setup where everything is balanced out pretty even.

Now, what are you looking at budget wise? How much room are you willing to sacrifice? Are you mechanically inclined? What type of music do you listen to? CD/Cassette/MiniDisc/Mp3/ ???, How much do you listen to the radio? Any favorite brands? Is this for competition purposes?

Need some basic info first.
