i need help

i got my cd player (pioneer deh-p2500)today i connected all the wires except one it's yellow with a black stripe it is not the 12v wire this is a different wire its the fist time i 've seen a cd player with two yellow wires i didn't connect it cause i dont know where it goes. is this wire important the manual dosen't say anying about the wire could someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!

the car i'm installing it in is a 1993 toyota corolla.

ok the yellow and black wire ur talking about is the Mute wire, that is for if ur car has a phone built in, so u hook it up to it and it mutes the stereo when a call comes in or out. I have a pioneer deck too but i didnt hook that wire up cuz its use less.

The cellphone mute on my HU is brown...I also have 2 yellow wires. The first is the memory backup like normal and the second one is the bus power lead.

oh hmm, its must be the newer models (the designed face) then cuz mine didnt have a brown wire.
