I Get TO REPAINT MY CAR!

Maaco painted my car and did a great job. I went from a silver to a black, clear coat mixed in with the paint though (I would get clear coat on top if I were you), door jams and trunk/hood for $1,500. It has a 4 year warranty, so when I get little paint chips I bring it to them and they fix it... for free.

$1500 for a single stage paint... did they fix some body work?

my car looks extremly similar to urs prowler and yes it the tan one above in thread but a dark green.

im thinking dark silver platinum color since my color dark and it hard to get darker colors light without a lot of work. I thinking dark royal blue, dark maroon/red, and the dark platinum

Yeah, the person who gave me the car smashed it into a pole and it had a bunch of little dents. I think it was $1,100 pre-dents.

also i plan to add about 400$ into the paintjob as well from money ive been saving for my next system just because i think paint is something ill enjoy more, and ill be having this car through college so it a big deal.

My car isn't a Camry but rather the wannabe version of the Toyota model below it, the Corolla.

(My car is a Geo Prizm and is the exact same thing mechanically and mostly the same thing cosmetically as the same year Corollas....built in the same factory in Fremont, CA)

93,000 wasnt driven as much as people expect, car in great shape, my friend who is a toyota master mechanic showed me it when someone was selling and told me about it, bought it and he said it was a steal. pretty happy cause nothing interior wise is wrong, exterior still in good shape. only couple spider webbings, and slight scratches. no dents nothing.

maaco will do good work if u pay them... the shit they pump out that u see are the $3-500 paint jobs. The one here will do a BC/CC job for i think $1300
first i reconmend goin through maaco make sure u spend the extra on the BC/CC

and my color reconmendation is Dayton Blue, the color im gonna paint my bug.

i would say no cuz dats da color i painted my honda but its a hot azz color i say go to maaco and tell them to show u the book they got wit all the color chips and go from there, my suggestions is da blue or a burgendy they got sum hot ones out and they should have da chips in da book

i think i would "da" understanded you a little better if you used the instead of "da" but i think i understand, i plan to look in the paint chips book too but i would like an idea of what to look for.

well that looks to be long ways away 6+ years so i dont think so. but i understand. but also why would i repaint a new car. considering i have this car till i get a new one.

I'm always weary of Maaco because all I see is their cheapest jobs. That and plus I'd never imagine a quality full paint job being a grand. Whatever though, give it a shot. Most people can never tell the difference, I just tend to have an eye for things in paintwork/body work.
