so i was switchin the RCA's to my HU from my EQ and my dummbbaasss was doing it while everything was on, music, etc and the RCA's touched each other sending a static noise while in the process, i guess i caused a short all over cuz all my tweeters fucken BLEW out, the rear tweeter on the left is dead the other 3 are still playing but with a static noise, i tried putting a new tweeter and the same noise comes out, did i damaged the head unit or the 4 channel? damnit im so maaadddd...

Ok, test. Bypass EQ, go straight to amps from HU. If there is still noise.....head unit. If there isn't noise....EQ. Or rca's if you are using the ones that fawked up.

my bro accidentally done this too and it was first his HU....but with that EQ might have hit it first instead.

if im reading this right, which im probably not, you took the RCA's that are going to an an amp out of the eq and went to put them in the hu. If they touched before you put them in the HU, I would say it has to be the amp. If the rca's are only plugged into the input stage of an amp, i dont know how they could get damaged by touching eachother.

If i am wrong about the wiring, then this may not help
