I got an ohio gen. I bought from a local audio shop and got robbed on the price! they charged me 700. I seen alot cheaper out there now that i actually did some looking. But the alt is solid as hell!

great product but the price rapes you

btw there are 9 million threads on this. u will never get a definite answer. everyone has had good luck with every brand. and other have had bad luck with every brand.

ive used iraggi,ohio gen, and now mechman. none have failed. basically just look at the most cost effective. so far iraggi has done me the best deal on 3 300 amp alts with trade in of old ones. but i just paid 349 shipped for a 250 amp mechman 15v alternator as well which is a steal.

well i have a 1996 ford explorer v6 4.o im going to be running about 4000 to 5000 rms

havent heard anything bad about mechman or mean green

ive used ea but he has had some issues lately

mechman i can get alt for 349 and thats the 250 amp and idle 150 at idle and 300 which 100 at idle
