Stupid question...I have an Alpine something or another thats rated a 60x4. I want to run a set of 2ohm mids with it...possible?

I wouldn't run any deck under what they are rated for(4 ohms). Buy a small amplifier if you need more power.

Agreed, but I for one happen to be running my Panasonic in my truck with some tweets wired in parallel with the coaxes. Haven't had a problem yet, but I believe after impedance rise, I am not seeing much less than 4 ohms if any.
