How will the SE12 in my situation?

Im planning on buying a single se12 soon and Im gonna run it with Profiles ca800 giving it 600rms. The box Im gonna build is going to be 2ftcu ported and tuned to 35hz. What kind of sq/spl ratio would this setup have.

64.15678% / 37.913548665% if my calculations are correct. This is one thing you must find out for yourself and see if you like that setup or not. Some people like punchy bass some people like it boomy like me. its all on your personal preference

ok then...with that said, is the se12 known better as a sq or spl driver???

I believe it is pretty good with SQ and SPL.

Ive got the SE 12, Its got great SQ in the proper enclosure, and the SPL can be pretty good in the proper enclosure, Ive got mine in 2 cubes @ 33 hz. The SPL/SQ is decent/pretty good. It can get pretty loud for the 350 watts its getting currently, and its still got some punch in it. Its an awesome sub IMO.

my old 10" subs were awesome. probly one of the best subs for the money. Can get really loud and sound good. not magnum d2 good, but 20x better than any rockford hx2 or kicker l7.
