Can someone explain how to wire my subs in parallel ? Also when doing this is it necessary to switch the amp to bridged mode ? I have 2 10" MTX 6000 and a Rockford Fosgate 800.2 amp .

Thanks

IF those are typical 4 ohm subs you can't wire them paralell for that amp. That would put a 2 ohm bridged load on it and would give you problems.

Ideally, you would want dvc 4's so that you could run them 2 ohms stereo or 4 ohms mono and get the full 800 watts from your amp.

What vc config are your subs?

So long as you have adequette air movement arround the amp, you should be fine wiring your subs in paralel. It will be a 2ohm mono load. Take a look at the link below for the proper wiring configuration.

Zane when I connect the wires to the amp do I connect them to pos. and neg. on the same channel or do I do pos. from one channel neg. from the other channel ? (one from the left channel and one from the right channel) I also have a cooling fan that I could hook up if it gets to hot . Sorry if it is a little confusing .

Thanks:D

You will need to connect the positive to one channel's + side and the negative to the other channels - side.

On RF amps- The right channel should be + and the left channel should be - .

take it easy.
