On certain songs I just want there to be little/no bass but I don't know how to do it on my 8443. Will someone who has experience with this deck please help me out. Just guide me through the buttons I need to push to turn my bass down and my treble up and things like that please.

all depends there are 2 ways. In regular mode or pro mode you can push the volume knob in cause its also a button. If you keep pressing it you will get 2 options. Bass which is adjustable frome -6 to +6 and treble from -6 to +6

Or in regular mode go to the 13band EQ and adjust the bass frequency you want to adjust.

Or in Pro mode go to Time alignment and go the the Low L and Low R which is adjustable from 0 to -30 on each side. Don't you have the manual? Its really easy to figure out. If not I belive you can download the manual from Eclipses website.

press the source button and it should give you bass and treble options, keep pressing the source button and turn down non-fad, that is the non fading subwoofer preout.
