How The F$%^ Do I Get My Stock Head Unit Out????

I can't get the dash kit off the dash to get at the stock head unit!! how exactly does that crap come off????? Its a 96 nissan maxima gle. HELP!!!

I can't remember for sure but I believe there is a ring around the stereo that comes off and gives access to the radio which is attatched to the pocket, but the entire assy must be removed ( 4 screws around the front of the bracket) and then remove the factory stereo and install the new one into the factory brackets withe the screws that came with the stereo (maybe 1/4 in in length. Avoid long screws that will come in contact with internal parts
