I have 2 12" power acoustik fahrenheit subs in a sealed box

and a 1200w P.A. amp

that gets 600 rms bridged and 300rms per channel. My subs

are dual voice coil and 400 rms and 800 peak. You also have

to keep on mind that this amp was hooked up to an 18"

Rockford-Fosgate Punch XLC and totally obliterated the voice

coil. Opened box up and MASS smoke came out---that ruined

my day!!! Anyhow should I wire the speakers in series and the

bridge them on the amp or run them on separate channels on

the amp. I want to max the bass but not kill both these subs also.

if its a 4 channel amp, then run each sub bridged seperately, if its 2 channel, check to see if it can stably handle 2ohms bridged and wire the subs bridged in parrallel.

If ya dont wanna burn em out, why dont ya try spending a little time with the volume on your HU right down and the gain on your amp at minimum, then adjusting it so you get a good balance between treble/bass at the level you normally listen to it at.
