ok im building this box

So i need a sheet of 3/4" MDF ...........is MDF Plywood........what will i tell them i need exactly and how big of a piece do i need for this box

MDF isn't ply wood . It's a particle board product. Sold in 4 x 8 sheets most of the time. Looks like your gonna probably need two sheets of MDF.

MDF Is medium density fiberboard. Tell the place you buy it from you need what they use for making cabinent and countertops. If your not cutting it yourself then just have the place you buy the wood cut it. Those dimensions at the bottom of the picture are the panels you need. If your cutting it yourself get 2 4'x 8' sheets its better to have too much incase you make a incorrect cut. If your confident in your carpentry skills then they sell smaller sheets pre cut at home depot and other large chains.

i think im going to go to lowes and get them to cut it.........wow at 22 bucks a sheet i sure hope they are creative w/their cuts

vetkilr yea went with 35.........the dimensions of the box just work better for my car then moe's same box at 32

Could make cardboard "stencils" if you want to save wood.. then lay them out for optimal wood usage.
