How much do I need?

Does anyone know how much sound deadener it takes to cover an average size car? I drive a 1994 4-Door Sentra, and I'm trying to decide if I should FatMat just the trunk or cover the whole thing.

It all depends on how many layers and to what extent. I would focus on the trunk and door primarily then go from there.

I have a 98 ex cab s-10 with 60 sq foot of edeadv.2 and another 50 sq foot of edead v.1 (over 100 sq foot all together) and it is pretty extensive with several layers but I could have put more in the smaller areas if I had wanted

Probably around 100 or so should be good for one layer....I'd buy 150 to cover everything and use what's left over to double-up on areas that still cause problems (trunk lid, for instance).
