how many watts is to much for daily

Everything the same, you will gain 3 dbs every time the wattage is doubled. Going from 1400 to 2000 will probably only net you an increase of 1-2 dbs, which should be audible but not a huge difference. I would go with the tantrum personally.

If it was me ... I'd go for 1000 - 1200 watts per sub. If it means getting two amps, get two amps. Perhaps an alternator upgrade should be in the works as well.

Just my opinion of course.

how much is a alt upgrade gonna cost me? because if it isnt much ill get the 2 bx1000s. someone said that in the manual the bx1000 only put out 750 watts at 1 ohm, is this right or rong. thnx
