How High Can I Set The Frequency?

How high is safe to go on the frequency? I listen more to techno and rock, but the subs dont seem that active or loud with them. The amp is set to about 75-80Hz right now, would 100 be alright? Not sure what the trade off is of having it set higher.

Subsonic is at 25hz, box is tuned to 35hz.

If the Box is Tuned to 35 then why not set the Subsonic to 35? I would not turn the LPF up any higher than 125 myself.

Agreed with ^^ about the subsonic. And I have my LPF set at 100 hz.

I was told the sub will peak 10hz below and 10hz higher then what its ported to, so I set it to 25hz since the box is 35. They sound really good on the lows like that too.

Ill give 100hz a try, also going to bump up the gain a bit since they have about 8 hours of music use now.

don't just "bump it up", just set it the right way the first time and you'll break in on music, just don't push tones. I break mine in by setting the gain where it needs to be then turning down the sub control on the HU and progressively turning that up, that way I won't clip or have to fvck with my gain later.

Not bump it up as in start turning it. I use a DMM and set it right. Right now Im only running 30v at 2ohm, going to give it about 38v for another week or so, then go for the full 1500w I want to end up with.

Im running off stock HU right now till the x794 comes on Thursday.
