my car only has 4 inch speackers so my question is how hard would it be to like cut into my door to put in the mid bass and tweeters of a component set and how good would they actually sound. im pretty new to all this so im kinda worried because if i screw up theres no way to fix it. i also thought of buying those prefabed 6x9 speaker boxes and puting those in the back and keep the 4 inches in front. or does anyone know of some amazing 4 inch speakers. i was looking at the infinity kappas. thanks alot oh and i cant do kick panels cuz i have a manual

Doors shouldn't be too hard to do as long as you plan everything out, have the tools, and do not try to rush. That said there are alot of good 4" component sets out there, CDT makes a good set (CL-41's) as do many other good companies. The 4" CDT's have a low end of 70Hz which isn't too bad but for real lowend that is why we have subs. You can probably get a very good sounding system without having to cut your doors.
