how do you guys think this will sound?

i am just starting out basically and i am trying to pick out a good system for not alot. i think i have a pretty good idea of what i want. tell me what you guys think:

Hey, Listen i wouldnt use a lanzar radio. I havent heard much about there headunits. I deal with there amps which are descent but dont live up to there expectations. I wouldnt suggest using that radio. You might want to go with a better made radio such as pioneer or maybe even sony. If your using this for the cheap cost you will be in a surprise. I would say go with a pioneer its worth the investment.

i, too, was iffy about the lanzar head unit but it does put out 240 watts and it isn't cheap.($160) i just would like to know if it really puts out 240 watts and it looks pretty cool.

i doubt VERY seriously if a head unit puts out 200 watts! most people i talk to say the best h/u amps are at BEST 25 wrms! most h/u's amps are closer to 15wrms.

$160 ain't all that much for a head unit. for that you could get a pioneer or sony from wal-mart and be in ALOT better shape than the lanzar, like the unregistered guy said, the amps are okay, if not overrated, but i'd suggest backing off the lanzar h/u!

the rest of your stuff sounds okay! just make surre the box is about 2.5^3ft for the 15!

I am using a lanzar VBD1600, and I have no probs with it. Works great, picks up my cdrs, and sub output is nice. It skips a lil bit, but i live in iowa where the roads **** bad, so thats my fault.

I like it, but i'm sure there are better.
