part of your dash has to come off, actually all of it if I am not mistaken, there should be some screws with a star head showing on the front of the dash, once off there are four bolts holding the radio in. Really no prob

jimmy's are set up like cavaliers, you have to take apart most of the dash to get into radio, i do believe that gmc started thier anri-theft systems then too, so be sure that's the radio you want. you might not be able to put the factory head unit back in unless you want to spend 65 dollars and still do all the work.

start looking for screws on the bottom of the dash and go from there, never took one out of a jimmy so I couldn`t tell yah. figure out what piece of the dash is holding it back then go from there

Go to the nearest auto parts store and pick up a service manual for your particular gmc. It will tell u step by step how to take your stereo out. Most of the time it has alot of pics to help u see what they are talking about too. The book should only be around $15-20!//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
