To get a 2ohm load on a 4ohm DVC sub with a mono-block amp (has two outputs), do I wire the positive and negative of one output on the amp to the negative and pos. of one voice coil, then wire the remaining neg/pos output on the amp to the remaining neg/pos of the voice coil? (Also, just to make sure, a two-ohm load will be best, right?)

amp out(1) + to VC(1) +

amp out(1) - to VC(1) -

amp out(2) + to VC(2) +

amp out(2) - to VC(2) -

the above will give you a 2 ohm load with the equipment you described and is the best way to connect it!
