I helpec choose that HU out for my friend . I love it, he hasn't even set the Eq yet or anything and it still sounds good with his system. Going to get one for myself this summer as my old hu is broken

I have had the 835MP in my car for over a year now. Absolutely no problems with it all. Plays CD-R and RW mp3 discs. Load time is fairly quick. Seems immune from skipping at all. Even when its cold out. The tuner seems to be fairly decent but my old old 8675 I think had a better tuner I thought. Might have been cause my old car had a real antenna instead of the "glasstenas" cars have now. CD section is quiet. The radio has a decent amount of tonal adjustment. Bass mid and treble with adjustments with "Q" adjustments on bass and mid range. Also multiple subwoofer frequency adjust and very handy rocker switch for subwoofer level control. My 825 didn't have that and I cursed every time I had to mess with the menu drive system for that. All in all I am pleased with it and for 219 at the zeb its a good deal...
