High Voltage Decks with Amps

I currently have a Kicker KX300.2 and will be getting a DEI 2400d shortly. Now, I will probably be getting an Eclipse CD8454 deck which has 8V outputs. Now, do all amps or most amps accept this voltage? If not, would an amp have significant problems running at this voltage?

Also, my Epic is at 4V out, so if I am running the high 8V from the deck to the Epic would I be downgrading in voltage, or would it still see the 8V?
