Hifonics Brutus BX1800D & BX2200D???

did hifonics release new models in their brutus line? i browsed ebay for a bx1500d and i ran into a bx1800d and bx2200d.

just want to see if these amps are for real. i browsed the hifonics website and didn't see either of these amps.

I would imagine they are because you can see in the background that the manual says its for the BX1500D, BX1800D, and BX2200D. Also the seller's feedback is like 99.6% with over 3100 feedbacks so it's probably legit because he seems to have little incentive to lie.

Audio companies are not always the fastest about updating their websites for some reason. A friend of mine on another board for my car was talking about getting some Alpine Type-X's so I went to Alpine's site and there was nothing on them so I was about to call BS. However, I like to double check my sources and went over to Crutchfield lo and behold they were real and shipping. So moral of the story is sometimes the retailers have more up-to-date info than the company making the product.

Although looking at the markup's on those **** things unless I was really strapped for space I'd go get 2 BX1500D's and still come out ahead over a single BX2200D.

They are legit. The price is up there because they are the new hot item. They are still cheaper than just about anything else putting out that kind of power. As far as 2 BX1500s being cheaper than a 2200 remember that you will be able to drive a single 1 ohm load with the 2200. You can't do that with 2 1500s.

Very true helotaxi, but atm anything that is 2ohm DVC that I could afford would whither under that type of power.

They look legit too me. Its hard to edit a pic like that. To say 1800D etc. Looks just like my 1000D.

Any1 know if the BX2200D is bridgeable?

Trynna get a amp that's about 4000+watts , or 2 bridged that will produce 4000+ to push 3 12" XXX 2DVC - Any advice any1?
