and thecontendor...solo's aren't just fart machines, unless the enclosure u build makes them so..in the wrong box, ur avalanches would just be fart machines. even the solo x's can be musical...i know, there is one in my truck right now. like another great man here once stated....85% enclosure(install), 10% equipment and 5% beer....

JL, Kicker both have superb feedback...so do other wellknown subs.heard JL 10W6v2 10" sub pushed by JL 500/1 amp before in a sealed box from a friend of mine. It may just be me.. But I've only heard one good kicker set up(2 12" compvr sealed) of five.. But that just may be the people who were running them were stupid... If you have a good kicker setup and live near n-w chicago lmk.
