Hey, about that polyfil... pls help!

I have a 12" L7 and i am building a box for it... the kicker site says fill the sealed box 50% with polyfil.... other people say its about a pound per cubic foot... 50% of the enclosure i have which is about 1 cu. ft, is somewhere around 4 ounces of polfyil ( a quarter pound). Can i pack it down somehow so its like a pound or just pull off enough and fill the bottom half of the box, no matter how much it weighs... thanks

the recomended ammount is 1-11/2 lbs per cu ft...you could go w/ the kicker recomendations if you want....but its up to you...jus a matter of preference....try both and see what has better sound...
