i have a reg cab chevy 1978 frame with a 1984 or 85 cab and **** and i want to put a tight ass system but nor go over 300 bucks for subs and box and amp . i was thinking about getting two 12w0's or 12w3' and building me a sealed or ported box cause i want bass to shake the ****ing windows in a gas station when i am going by. can anyone help about this or should i use soemthing else. please help

These cost around fifty dolars a piece but will hit pretty hard.

They are power acoustik Fahrenheits. They are dual-voice coil

and hold 400 rms and 800 peak. I have them in a sealed box

and they hit hard. I also have about 400 rms going to them. My

amp cost me 300 alone but you can get a good power acoustik

or legacy for around $100-150. I got these from a flea market

nearby but the guy's been around awhile and trustworthy. I

also had the 400 rms legacy subs which also hit hard. I loved

them but needed money so I sold them. People might put

these subs down b/c they r too cheap or whatever but all I know

is that they hit . I am quit experienced with these combo's b/c I

myself don't have the money to spend on solo barics and such

nonsense.

Zane is right. People that abuse the sport make it real hard for true enthusiast. There’s a time and place to BUMP but I am positive that the parking lot of some ones Business IS NOT the place to do it. If you want to see windows shake, just wait until the wind picks up at your local Winn Dixie and stare at the glass. Im sure it will look the same if that’s what truly stimulates you.

In order for people to respect the sport, we have to respect the people around us. I couldn’t imagine what it would be like to be 90 years old with a nerve condition, confused as hell cause it sounds like your walls are collapsing every time the little punk in his mothers Expedition drives bye with his distorting system blaring over the neighborhood. Ever get pissed when people complain about loud music? This is a solid example of why!

As for my advice. 300.00 Hmmmm… go to your local Wal-Mart and buy up 2 8” Road gear subs, a nice 120 watt Kraco Amp and a bottom of the line Jensen H.U. That way it at least matches your common sense. Peace

See that little link down in the lower right hand corner that says I.P. logged? This forum tracks your Computers I.P. address and I can obtain all the information I need about you with this number alone.

Sorry, try another one. I'm not buying it. Location is a moot point with concern to respect and peoples rights.

As for your comments about not helping, maybe you should re-think and re-read the reply's to your questions. I would also reccomend contacting your local police chief or a local attorney concerning your local and state noise ordinances.

What escapes you is that we are providing you the best information with concern and respect to the entire car audio community, the general public, and to you. We are even trying to help you avoid many costly tickets for noise violation and possible impounding of your vehicle.

You simply are not hearing the answer you want; therefor you choose not to accept it. The only thing you are hearing is the truth.

All things considered, this forum is doing an excellent job of providing you information.

Why not be the wise one and encourage healthy competition and less abuse of thier sound systems. Yes, there is a lot of money in each system and they should be able to get a little exposure- however there is a time and place for everything.

If you are in car audio just to show off, then what good does any of the knowledge available do for you?

As I stated above, I could care less where you are from, however, I do care deeply about the abuse and lack of responsibility shown with car audio. Is it simply too much work for you to be considerate?
