Incorrect, 36 is the best way to do it... if you want to utilize the most subwoofers and still have a 2ohm load per strapped pair...
~Wire a trio (3) in series = 12ohms (3 speakers)
~Wire three trios in parallel = 4ohms (9 speakers)
(Now duplicate this, making two groups of 9 speakers)
~Wire the two groups of 9, in parallel = 2ohm load (18 speakers total)
Wire this to a pair of SAZ3000d's strapped. Bam, 1ohm load per amp. Assuming an underrated 6000rms, this will be 333.33 watts rms per sub underrated.
