Help! What do I set these things on my amp to?

I have a 1998 Audi A4 with the following:

Kenwood KDC-5019 Single CD Head Unit

can anyone tell me what the set these knobs/switches to for optimum output/sound?

for example set front crossover to hp, ap, or lp? Set input to 4 or 2? Turn front gain how far? set front crossover frequency to how many hz? set rear crossover frequency to how many hz? turn rear gain how high? set rear crossover to hp, ap, or lp? and what does rear remote punch bass do exactly?

I had an Audio Mobile Evo-R 12inch sub with a JBL 1200.1 but the sub blew and I belive Audio Mobile is out of business now. So I just sold the JBL amp and have the sub and box sitting right here as a paper weight....I plan on buying a new sub here shortly.

since your speakers can handle 90 W rms then, turn the gains all the way up and set the crossover to AP

OK but what does the hp, ap, and lp mean? Also does the 4/2 input mean 4ohm or 2ohm? or does it mean 4 or 2 channels?
