Help me pick an alternator

I'm shopping for a h/o drop in alt for my 99 ford ranger. I want something 160 amps or more. I want to run my amps at 14.4 volts so I can take full advantage of them. Also, I'm going to be running a yellow top 34. Right now I'm looking at this one at http://motorcityreman.com/stage/content/alt/ford.html and http://www.mralternator.com/alternators/ford.html . It's important that the alt is drop in and that it won't break. Thanks for the help!

How long does it usually take him to built alternators? What's his quality control like? Will they be a lot better than the http://www.mralternator.com/alternators/ford.html alternators? Thanks!
