Help installing SX

I just recieved my SX dual 4, I need some help first off i know i need to wire it in parrallel to get my desired 2ohms but can someone give me detailed steps how to do so, also how do i screw the sub onto the box there is the metal surround that covers the holes

Wire the coils in paralell. + to + and - to -! Then wire your amp mono.

Just stick a screw in and move it around until you match up the holes.

Is it a 12" or 15"?

What box and amp are you using?

15SX... there recomended hz box, with a 1001bd fosgate runnin about 1300wrms, im going to put 12guage for the sub and amp to sub is that good?

That should be fine. Although I used 8 ga as speaker wire. Seemed to be a tad louder.

Funny thing is, we have almost the same setup. BD1001 is almost the exact competitor to the 81000d.
