Hey all,
If anyone has experience doing an audio install in a Jeep Grand Cherokee, I have a question I really could use some help on, as I would like to do this install right the first time, and this being my first install, I really don't want to mess up my Jeep or the system. I am installing the amp underneath the flip up seats in the back. My question, after looking all around the firewall area is, where in he H*** can I run my 4ga. high current power power to get it to the battery? I looked through the Haynes tear down manual for my Jeep, and the only viable grommet hole I can find is the one for the Antenna lead, although on closer inspection, I don't think I can even reach to where it is. Does anyone know the locaton of a "usuable" grommet hole on the firewall for a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee, or (gasp), a "safe" spot for me to go tunneling through the firewall with a drill bit. If any of you have seen the underside of the dash on a grand cherokee, you know why I am leary about shoving drill bits in that area. Your help would be most appreciated, and if you have a site that even shows where you went through the firewall, that would be awsome. thank you!
