I have been debating on these two setups:

2 Audiobahn 700 watts RMS 12" subs, with a Legacy 1000 watt 2-ch. amp

or 1 Audiobahn 1100 watts RMS 12"sub with Legacy 1000 watt amp.

Please if anyone knows anything good about Audiobahn, Legacy amps, and this website here: www.cardiscountstereos.com plz respond.

Ok, the best way to put this is....they ****. I'm serious, audiobahn is ok...and legacy is the laughing stock of all caraudio. They are a trash flea-market brand that are very poorly built and that don't put out ANYWHERE near their rated power. Ok, with that aside. What is you total budget? what are you looking for spl or sq? (loud, good sounding, or mix of both?) and how much space do you have to work with. LMK, we can help. peace

im looking for a mix but more on the side of like you can feel it in your chest. As of now my budget is tight but come September I'll have some dough. I have a 98 honda accord, so I got a good bit of space to work with.

It's horrible, probably. that setup listed above.

Anyways, i need a dollar amount you'd be willing to spend...even if it willl take a while. Do it once, do it right! seriously, i've spent hundreds, upon hundreds of dollars re-doing and upgrading. So, LMK i got suggestion a plenty. peace

if i were you...i'd wait until you can muster up some more funds then buy something thats worth it and you won't want to upgrade from a month later

a few setups that would be approx 400

single RE SE15-200

jbl 600.1 - 200ish off ebay

box-50tops

or

dual eD kx12's - 70x2 = 140

profile amp (i think 600 or 800 is the model) - 150

box 50 again

single eD 12O - 160

profile or jbl that'll do 500-600 watts- 150-200

box...i think you got the idea

triple re 10s/12's approx 200

amp that'll do 400-450watts-150-200

that's just a few off the top of my head......i can list more if need be

yeah, well basically...i'd recommend either save up more money, OR go with 2 re12's. The are like 70 a piece. Buy an amp that's like 400-500 watts rms. Build a ported enclosure 3-4cubes net ported @30hz...my suggestion. peace
