Hardwiring an I Pod

I have a CDA D857 Hu from Alpine. It has a cd changer control with the Ai-Net. I have been reading and how would I have out if this HU is a versatile link???

Cause if it is I can Hardwire the pod.

if you still have your manual or box, it will say versatile link ready on either. if not, then it's most likely non-compatible. however, i have read that if your hu has an interrupt wire (pink/black) in the wire harness, you can connect a versatile link to an Ai-NET hu by connecting the interrupt wire to ground. you can always purchase one from crutchfield and return if it doesn't work.
