Are Ground Loop Isolators worth it?

Do they work?

How Do they work?

Do you use one? Why or Why not?

I am just curious because someone was talking about them to me and i have heard of them but am wondering what they do and if they are worth buying one for like $16 as i have seen them priced

No they are not worth it, it is better to fix the problem rather than cover it up.

Not all of the time, all they do is cover alternator whine or engine noise.

Not sure how they work...

Yes I have one in my system but it is not needed since I redone the ground, just too lazy to take it out . //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

Hope this helps. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
