Where have y64 been the 3ast 3-4 years, where the yankees have been eliminated in the first round.Baseball needs a salary cap ... But it's good to see the Yankees lose for once ...
the sad reality is that "the boss" has an endless pocket and for as many players that leave there will be multi million dollar replacements for them just as quick....the fact is if you are a professional baseball player there is always something appealing about playing for the world famous new york yankees....I am happy they lost, more then I can put into words. I hope Stienbrenner fires Torre, then all the key players will leave and that team will fall apart. Wonderful in my eyes. That way maybe the yankee fans, who think they play for the team, can shut their rude/arrogant/trash talking/foul mouthed/ sore loser faces.
The shame in all of this is the attention the yankees continue to get, the amount of attention they get in the news/press is flat out uncalled for and not warrented. This not at all about the Yankees losing, it is about the Indians winning.
Good job indians.
I dont think Torre is going anywhere. Yeah The Boss is pissed and youd be too if your 200mill team just fell apart. Yankees losing is just as attractive a story than the Indians winning. Because everyone EXPECTS them to win. 12 playoffs, 6 WS, 4 rings under 12 years of Torre. Beat that resume bishes. Now Torre, Rivera, Cashman, Posada, Giambi.. alot of expired contracts and question marks, Rodriguez being the biggest of them all. The offseason is more exciting than the regular season!I am happy they lost, more then I can put into words. I hope Stienbrenner fires Torre, then all the key players will leave and that team will fall apart. Wonderful in my eyes.
