good idea?

Hello everybody. I'm more of an SQ person and I don't play my music too loud. I still have stock rear speakers, and I was planning to change them. Then I came up with this idea. Would it sound better if I upgrade my rear speakers (in my car, the rear speakers do make it sound better, even with just the stock speakers) or to do the following:

-take out my rear speakers and leave a hole through which the bass from the trunk can come in (I would think this will make the bass sound better)

-add rear fill tweeters

what do you guys think?

I just threw some good cdt coaxes in the rear personally. You could also put in some midbass drivers in the rear and, if you need more highs, add the tweeters up front.
