Nuggets are looking good. Took down the Suns in 6 and swept Lebron and the Lakers. Miami was lucky to catch fire and start dropping 3s in the 4th quarter of game 2 or they'd be down 3-0 right now. Other than 2 quarters of the series the Nuggets have looked like the superior team.

Nuggets look good. I kinda wish they were playing a number 1 or 2 seed though. If they win it all, people will bring up the fact that they only played 7s and 8s through the whole playoffs. It wouldn’t have mattered who it was though, the nuggets are obviously the best team in the NBA this year by quite a lot. Boston looked like they couldn’t get out of bed for the Miami series.

Milwaukee scared me, but I actually wanted Boston over Miami. The Nuggets beat Durant/Booker then Lebron/Davis and dominated the Western Conference start to finish in both the regular season and playoffs, no easy task.

Milwaukee scared me, but I actually wanted Boston over Miami. The Nuggets beat Durant/Booker then Lebron/Davis and dominated the Western Conference start to finish in both the regular season and playoffs, no easy task.

The East looked weak in the playoffs. The best 2 teams in the NBA were both in the west.

The nuggets might be better than Miami, but the Lakers are a better team than Denver. I just think Denver is incredibly overrated. Denver has an average road record, and the best home record in the conference. It's all about the elevation. You can't go there during a basketball season, not get a few days to get acclimated, and expect to play at your best ability. They get the #1 seed, the homecourt advantage, and so right at game one, they have that big advantage on everyone.

The Lakers were tired out the first game, because of the elevation, and less than 48 hours between games is not enough time to get acclimated and rested. They never stood a chance. That game 3 and 4, the entire team was wore out before the game started, they didn't drive, those second halfs they weren't even playing defense inside the 3 point line. The lakers are a better basketball team, but the elevation made the Nuggets better athletes under those circumstances.

Miami is only in it because they get an extra day between games. Boston and LA would have been a better series.

Technically, the Nuggets had a below average road record; every contender had a better road record than the Nuggets. The Lakers are clearly a superior team. TBH, the Nuggets are probably the 4th best team in the West behind the Suns, Lakers and Warriors. They got lucky that Portland was banged up and missed the playoffs or the Trailblazers would have probably knocked the Nuggets out again. The Nuggets would have had the 4th best record in the East, so they would have had one series with home court advantage before getting bounced out of the play-offs.

Really they just got lucky, they got a tired play-in team in the Timberwolves at home and made quick work of them. The Suns are clearly a more talented team, but CP3 goes down in the play-offs (again) and the Nuggets barely survive and probably wouldn't have without home court advantage. Then we got the Lakers who had to go 6 games against the Grizzles and then 7 against the Warriors. Miami did all the heavy lifting by taking out by taking out the top 2 teams in the East for us. Does anybody doubt that Milwaukee, the Celtics and 76er's are all better teams than the Nuggets? Not only that, but when it looked like Miami would get a sweep against the Celts, the Celts do the Nuggets the favor of extending it 7. The exhausted Heat didn't have chance against a rested Nuggets team at altitude.

The Nuggets will probably win the championship this year, but there hasn't been a more undeserving team since 70-71 when Kareem and a bunch of other guys swept a not so good Bullets team whose 2 best players were injured. The Nuggets caught every break imaginable and then got the unimaginable break by getting matched up with one of the weakest teams in the East who just got extended to 7 games.

Yeah. I thought Phoenix would be there. I’m from Denver and always liked the nuggets, but I’d rather see the money come here where I live now. I thought Phoenix was the best team in the west technically. Miami is just too small or they’d give the nuggets a better run themselves. Denver doesn’t look particularly sharp or dominant, they just look bigger. At least the Nuggets are being sober and serious about being in the championship. When Elway drug a mediocre team and 8 cokeheads to a Super Bowl they partied the whole time and suffered the worst losses in Super Bowl history.

Last night just cements how undeserving of a Championship this is. The Nuggets best player only plays 5 minutes of the 4th quarter and their 2nd best player (Murray) is a having a mediocre game, yet the Nuggets are able to dominate the 4th with bench players. Miami is just a weak team that (like the Nuggets) don't deserve to be in the Finals and somebody has to win out of these 2 underwhelming teams. It's crazy to think there are at least 6 teams that are demonstrably better and probably another 4 that you could argue are as good as the Nuggets and/or Heat.
