Getting Kicked off the Golf Course FTW

Personally, I would be pissed off too if you did that to me. I mean I understand the whole thing about him hitting 3-4 balls, but sounds to me like you took it a little to far. Why didnt you ask them nicely if the could hit in front of them? Problem solved.
Also you can hit 300 yards? Isnt that like John Daley skillz there? I mean if you could hit that far and straight, you should be in the PGA!
The first time was an accident, the second time I didn't think I hit into them, I think they were just pissed about the first one. I hit the ball 300 yds + maybe two times each round. Other than that an avg drive for me is in the 250-275 range. I don't use my driver //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif. I use a 2-wood. When I was able to hit solid shots with my driver I was driving an avg of 275 and a long of anywhere between 325-340. Like I said though, the first one was an accident and I think they went a bit to far and started yelling at me. The 2nd one landed a good 40 yds from where they were.

lots of people can smash a ball, but the game is won in the short game.
That's where I lose most of my strokes. Especially putting yesterday. My chipping is pretty good though. Just need to be more accurate with my wedges so I don't leave myself with a 20 + ft putts.

So is this 300 yds (give or take 10) consistantly?
I had a guy hit into us a couple weeks ago out in Lewisville. We weren't playing slow, there had to be 3-4 groups stacked up ahead of us. On about 17, we had a few beers at that point, and when he did it again, my brother-in-law and I teed it up and hit it back. Then we hit every shag ball we found back at him too. It was rather entertaining. Didn't get to finish the round though.
No...just the shot I hit. It was a par 4 playing around 353 yds, but it was probably closer to 370 (they had the tees back further) and I was less than 100 yds from the pin, probably about 60-75 yds from the pin. I had another drive 1 hole after that I estimated at around 280. Then screwed up the shot with the sandwedge and got the ball too high and landed 20 yds short. Probably didn't help that the course was real wet. If I were to give my distances it'd probably break down like this:

2-wood: 250-275 avg 300 tops

3-iron: 210 avg 230 tops

5-iron 200 avg 215 tops

7-iron 175 avg 190 tops (I actually ripped one over a par 3 that was playing 180 yesterday)

9-iron 140 avg 150 tops

PW-130 avg 140 tops

SW-120 avg 130 tops (although I crushed it over 150 before, but that was a mishit)

LW-100 avg 110 tops

Putter - I've hit a drive with my old putter over 150. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

my best hole of golf was a 492yd par 4. Driver went 296 leaving me 196 to the hole(we had GPS on the cart so i knew exact distance //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ). then 6 iron and holed it out for an eagle on the toughest par 4 at the course. Eagle's are always good on a par 4:D.

I've never holed out a shot, not even a chip shot. My best hole was probably a 530 yd par 5. Tee shot went around 300 yds. Then hit the 3 iron 200+ in the air and it rolled onto the green 10 ft from the pin. Putted in for eagle. I've hit a couple nice long shots onto the green. I once hit a 6-iron 220 yds to within 10 ft of the cup, and hit a 7 iron 205 yds to within 10-15 ft of the cup. Both shots I was just trying to leave myself with an easy chip onto the green, just ended up hitting it farther than I thought I was capable of.

i holed out an eagle chip from about 55 yards out in a tournament in high school to finish 2nd. i've holed out many shots from 10-50 yards away as short game is my best area. i'm like john daley on the tee lol. i can average 280+ but i'm not always in the fairway. i've gotten so pissed that i played the last 5 holes on a course with a 4 iron. got a par of a 515 yard par 5 with 5 4 irons lol.

Im a freaking horrible golfer but love playing. And when I say bad I mean real bad, as in my average round is around 100 strokes or so. I am a real good par 3 player but on anything when I need to hit long Im outta control, I can hit like a hammer, but have a serious wicked slice. Problem is Im too proud to take lessons or play smart and use a shorter club with more control. I am however the only person I know who has actually hit a hole in one. When I was in school our gym teacher taped all of out tee shots to anyalise them later. On a par 3 that was about 160 I dropped my tee shot in with a 7 Iron. Dirt greens in small town saskatchewan, gotta love em. I know he still has it on tape somewhere to because he is an avid golfer and watches it at the start of every year, reminding him that he still needs to hole one now that one of his students did. Its kinda funny actually.

just goes to proove that a hole in 1 for 99% of golfers is luck;). i've come close, like my divot from the ball was focking half in the hole, i ended up 22" away and birdied.

I've hit the pin several times, but with just my luck the ball shoots off the green. Not like how you see the pro's, when they hit the pin it usually goes in or stops within a foot of the hole.
