Getting Kicked off the Golf Course FTW

So I'm out there playing with my buddy today and we are behind this couple that's taking forever. The lady was playing pretty good but the guy was being a dick. He kept taking a swing hitting it in the woods and dropping another ball down. So I figured he got far enough on the first hole and I hit my tee shot. Well it lands right next to him about 300 yards give or take 10 yds from the tee box. So nothing happens for the next several holes, just the same shit with him taking forever and lagging a little bit behind the group in front. So on hole 8, I thought they were far enough and I hit a decent tee shot that landed about 40 yds behind them, and I guess it pissed them off. So when I get up to the hole they tell me that's the 2nd time I hit into them and I cut them off and started telling them they need to play faster or let us pass. They get mad and tell me I have no golf course etiquette and they are reporting me and I'll be gone. (apparently I'm guessing they've done this before) So I start yelling at the guy, and the ***** starts popping off at the mouth about "This isn't a mad man, but I'm a mad woman" I cut that ***** off and said, I don't give a shit what you are, ***** get back in the cart. So I finish up my hole and go to hole 9. Well they end up telling on me and I get into an argument with the Ranger and he tells me that I shouldn't be playing on Labor day, I should expect it to busy. I told him "No, what I expect is people to keep up with the group in front of them, not to drop 3 or 4 extra balls down because they want to cheat. So he tells me if I hit in front of them again I'll be gone. I told him, if they keep playing around I'm going to keep playing. He told me and my friend to leave the course or he was calling the police. LOL. So as I'm leaving in my car, hole 10 is right along the road, and I hold the horn down as the guy is swinging, and say good game *****.

Personally, I would be pissed off too if you did that to me. I mean I understand the whole thing about him hitting 3-4 balls,but sounds to me like you took it a little to far. Why didnt you ask them nicely if the could hit in front of them? Problem solved.

Also you can hit 300 yards? Isnt that like John Daley skillz there? I mean if you could hit that far and straight, you should be in the PGA!

a guy kept hitting into us one day and we were right on the river, so i simply hit his ball into the river as it rolled up to my foot. the next time he did it i hit it back at him, he stopped. not that we were playing slow, but as soon as he got on the tee box he hit, impatient. guys in front of us were kind of slow, but we werent fast enough to catch them so we just relaxed. hmm, i live across the street from a golf course. nothing really bothers me, just dont hit my truck.
