Tonight I pulled out my subwoofer...after I did I noticed my amp that was powering it (mono-amp) wasnt powering on. I checked the fuses and all three were blown...I put in some new ones and the amp powered up for a second then went off...again all three were blown...was this because the wires were not connected to a subwoofer...

thanks,

John

Could have been that the positive and negatives touched while you had the sub disconnected. If that wasn't the case you should check your ground for the amp, then the rest of the wiring.

no i really dont think so...they were wrapped in electrical tape...oh boy, well I guess its off to soundstream for some repairs...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
