Yeah It was a storage drive in my old PC and will just be for extra storage if I ever fill my 970 evo in my current PC.
Should be no problem at all.

Your PC may or may not recognize the second one so you may have to add it. I forget how you do that though lol

Brother gave me his EVGA 3070 FTW. He bought a ASUS 4080 today to replace his EVGA 3080 FTW in his main rig and the 3080 will go into his other rig. My Ryzen 5 3600 should do ok for now but eyeing a
Ryzen 7 5800X.

EVGA 2060. It's good for 1080 but wanted something better for 1440 since I have a 1440 144hz monitor

Wanna sell it cheap? I could really use that for my moms computer since she does a TON of graphic and video and picture stuff. 2060 would be perfect for that. Would have to wait till Dec 3rd when I get paid but if the price is right I would be interested in it for her setup.

Got a Ryzen 9 5900X to replace a Ryzen 5 3600. It’s overkill but more future proof. Giving the 3600 to someone to replace their Ryzen 3 3200G.

Decided to treat myself to a new tower for all the medical BS I have been through this year and with 5 more surgeries next year. 13th Gen Intel 13600k with 32gb of Kingston DDR5, Asus Z690-P, 2 tb SSD that does 7,500 and 7,100 with a matching 1 tb with the same specs which I will split for the dual boot system I always do, Seasonic 850 watt PSU was sitting here and new case of course, ordering blue-ray burner next month since they are down to 55 bucks shipped.

I have been pricing parts for an AMD PC build. So far I am up to $3,700. That includes the following:

Monitor (LG - 4K 16:9)
Computer Case (Lian Li PC-011)
Power Supply (Seasonic Prime TX 850 80+ Titanium)
Motherboard (Asrock X570 Taichi)
CPU (AMD Ryzen 7 3700X)
GPU (Asrock Challenger Pro RX6600)
M.2 Hard drive (2TB) for the O.S. (Samsung 980 Pro)
Memory (G.Skill Trident Z 4x8GB 32GB RGB)
CPU Cooler (Corsair iCUE H150i Elite LCD Display)

I will source my remaining 8TB worth of hard drives from this computer... for now.

Better off doing 16x2 for the memory as its around 130-150 bucks for DDR5 right now. And why just a 6600? The new 7000 series are out as well. Some of the 6750XT's are around 430 right now on newegg.

That motherboard supports DDR4
I run an ASUS RX480 ROG Strix right now, have for years. The video card I selected has display port 1.4 and DSC to match the capabilities of the new monitor.
I don't game much anymore but I will watch 4K movies on my computer when I don't want to watch them on the TV.

Curious how did you get up to 3,700? Gotta be the monitor. I just did my setup for 1050 bucks before case which was 80 bucks and the Seasonic power supply was around 120 and my cpu cooler was 90. My monitor is a 32" LG 2k with G-Sync for 450 bucks 2 years ago. I am re-using the 2070 Super but even then the 3070 is under 500 now.

Idk your prices seem high to me for something without DDR5 with a 6600 and what not. How much is the GPU you are looking at as well. I can do up a AMD system tonight when I get home in the evening using your case, psu and cooler & compare the two in pricing before monitor. Up to you it doesn't bother me to do that stuff since I've done that stuff for so long it doesn't take me long to do one up.

Getting an Asus Tuf Gaming 4070Ti OC next Saturday. Giving the 3070 back to my brother.
Ordered a white 16-pin to three 8 pin GPU cable from EZ-DIY which is longer than what the GPU's come with so the connectors are hidden from view. Asiahorse white cable kit for my CPU and 24 pin in white to match. Next will be going from four 8GB ram sticks to two 32GB ram sticks just because.
