im positive you wont be able to get a new one. they dont have insurance on these phones and i think they should. i treat mine like a baby, because i know if something happens thats a 425 dollar paper weight lol. something tells me you wont be able to get the red dot away, i wouldnt think theyd put it there just so you could wipe it down.

There are multiple water indicators inside the phone, folks... you really think a company is going to make a $400+ piece of equipment like that and skimp in water indicators that cost them less than $0.01 each? Please....

My parents own 2 cell phone stores and they get ****tards like the OP coming in every week trying the same shit. Guess what? It doesn't work. Not only can they simply pop open the case and see the internal water damage indicators, but many models of phones have certain problems that they exhibit when they are water-damaged... often my step-dad knows without doubt a phone is water-damaged prior to even opening it up.

People come in denying any kind of damage when he's opened it up and found sticky dried soda inside the phone, etc.,.... People are so stupid they assume everyone else is, too.

We're both 20, he doesn't have a job, but it looks like I'm about to be telling him I dont give a shit cause the reality of getting it replaced for free looks pretty rare.
