I work for att and your best bet is to take it to the apple store cuz other wise they are gonna make you send it in to apple and they will run full diagnostics on it and open it up to take a look inside and you can all ways know if a phone has been wet by that. if you want to dry it, put it in the oven for a couple days not with it turned on though. the dry environment of the oven will take all the moisture out. and there are more water indicators inside. so if they make you send it in by mail forget about them giving you another one for free, but if they do it in the store than consider yourself lucky.

so i drove up to Orlando today to the Florida mall and tried exchanging the iPhone. Apparently I didn't get the water dot white enough and the guy denied me of an exchange. Any ideas on how to get the dot crystal white??? I think if I can Im going to go back to Orlando to the Millenia mall and try it again...

thats pretty dumb logic. if that were true none of us would own houses or cars. if i wreck my car i cant drop another 18k tomorrow to buy a new one, nor 100k + on a house if its destroyed.

Let it set in a bowl of rice. The rice will pull moisture out of the phone. You will probably still have to clean the dot though.
