******* friend pushed me in my pool, iPhone broken

no i mean like most phones have a little white dot, where if it turns red they KNOW its been in the water...and since you cant really open the iPhone up Im assuming it doesnt have one.
Oh, my fault... Best bet is Apple. ATT doesn't deal with repairs or exchanging the iPhone. It's good that your phone turns on because then the last thing they will think of is water damage. Just make up some BS story and you will have a new one.

Yeah as simple as it is to add that dot, I don't think apple would have skimped on something that simple that they would have to pay for, that was your fault, and BTW they warranty on yours would be your dumbazz friend buying you a new one. my sister inlaw did the same thing to me :verymad:and we were at t-mobile the next day with her credit card. its called taking responsiblity for your actions.

the iphone does have a water sensor, not what you want to hear, its located in the bottom of the headphone jack. get it in some light and take a look down the jack and you should see it. now i have owned a few iphones and here is the trick. use alcohol on a q-tip to clean the water sensor. Once you get the water sensor back white put the iphone in the microwave for 5 seconds (no i am not bullshitting you). This will pretty much fry the phone so apple cant turn it on. then just take it to the store and tell them it wont turn on and they should give you a new n right on the spot.

sounds like a good idea...but idk about the microwave thing. Sounds like you're gonna spark the shit out of it.
