Yep
on the Soundstream PCA-2000d's, where you hook the sub wires into (i dont know the technical name, preouts?) one positive, one negative. well..i have 2 Fi SSD 10's (BADASS) i had them wired in 1 ohm..so i had one pos wire and one neg wire out of each sub..and i had to cram both pos and both neg into the single neg and single pos preout? on the amp. well im goin to pick up my gf last night and i notice one of my negative wire came off..so i loosened everything up..reattached it..and was on my way..well i guess it wasnt in there securely..drivin down her road truck fills up with smoke, sparks, all kinds of good shit from the preouts? where i guess the current was jumping between the exposed wires from pos and neg. (shoulda checked it, i know. in a hurry, stupid mistake) then my 12v and my ground light up for god knows why. freakin out, get out of the truck, run around it, doors locked, run back around jump in, rip all the wires out. scared the shit out of me..thought my truck was gunna burn down. fried all the internals..the thing reaks!!
