Well, I've been out of the loop for a while, and from what I see is that there are a good amount of low-profile subs, but no free-air subs anymore.

Is there a reason for this? Do they still exist??

If I were a man that wanted to just install some speakers ina a car, instead of placing a box in a car, is it still possible??

Thank you. Because I have a 1971 Mustand that I want to restore, and when I put the music in it, I would rather just put some speakers in the body, as opposed to take up the trunk space (which is limited) for a box....

Look at the Alpine Type S subs.

Thanks for the feedback. It was a long shot but there will definitely be much more powerful subs in the trunk, so clearing it out isn't an option...
