Ford focus ZX3 help!!!

I need help thanx, ok, well im installing a line converter(speaker wire to rca preouts) in a focus zx3 and im going to install it right behind the the deck but i pulled the deck out then realized i don't know aht color is what. Does anyone kno were i can get a diagram or tell me a generall rule liek basic color or order of the speaker wire, i need to cut into a neg and pos of both a left and right channel. thnx. any help will be much appreciated, thnx.

If your Focus is pre-2003, you should have two plugs, one of which is entirely speaker wires. Find the plug (probably black) with eight wires coming from it. The pinout has two wires going to each speaker placed right next to each other; so if you start at one side, the first two wires go to a speaker, then the next two to another speaker, and so on.

I'm not sure of the wire colors or speaker order, but you can find out easily with two small pieces of wire and a 1.5v battery. Just attach a wire to each battery pole, touch them to the two speaker wires you're testing, and you should be able to hear the speaker pop.
