I've never really been into the 'loud' side of things so I've always been curious: Do you turn the bass on the head unit, and gains/boost on your amp, all the way up for competitions? I'm sure the amps would be sent in to clipping but as I understand it you only have to burp for like a second? Doesn't seem like much could get hurt in that amount of time plus you have the extra power from the clipping but then are dc waves worse for competition? Anyway, just curious. Thanks!
